CHAT Gurgaon is celebrating the "International Chef's Day"
CHAT Gurgaon is celebrating the "International Chef's Day" in association with the Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA), the Indian Culinary Forum (IFC), and the World Association of Chefs Society (WACS) on October 26, 2007 at the Meadows Campus, Faridabad. At the event, the students of CHAT will host a Goodwill Dinner to unprivileged students. Noted chefs from the industry and a few Hoteliers will also be present at the event to honor the Dinner.

Young-Chefs Brain Twister
This dynamic event held in Delhi, received participants from catering colleges across the country and Nepal. CHAT students won the Nestle - first runners up trophy.


ALCHEMY: Annual Fest
The event presented all its participants unending fun, frolic intertwined with stiff competition. The food & services stall 'CHAT-WOK' put up CHAT students won the First prize. This thematic mock restaurant with exquisitely designed interiors won accolades for the scrumptious food it served to the visitors.

CHAT students consistently organize and participate in various food festivals, emphasizing on regional cuisines and festive flavors. The events invite experts from the industry who encourage and give positive inputs for improvement.

Inter-college Tournaments
CHAT students won the champions trophy in cricket matches held in Delhi


International Food Drink & Housekeeping Exhibition
This famous annual exhibition at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi , was an opportunity for CHAT students to acquaint them of the latest developments in equipment, Food & Beverage products.


International Food Exhibition & AHAR
These much-awaited annual industry exhibitions, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi gave CHAT students the footage to imbibe more insight about the Hospitality Industry.


Food & Wine Show
CHAT students attended this bons vivants' show at Taj Palace , New Delhi . At this international event, they had a great learning experience mingled with fun. They came to know a lot about the origins of various foods and wines during the wine tasting session.


Industry Visit
CHAT students visit top hotels and resorts across the country to analyze and understand various functions and operations of different star categories. Some of the hotels and resorts CHAT students visited are: ITC Maurya Sheraton & Taj, Hyatt Regency, New Delhi ; Radisson Hotel, Delhi , Amar Villas, Agra ; Jaypee Palace Hotel, Agra , Country Inn Resorts at Kosi and Bhimtal and others.


Ranthambore National Park
Chat students along with faculty undertook a trip to the national park as part of their industrial visit. They visited one privately owned resort and another Government owned resort.


Expert Speak @ CHAT
CHAT brings professionals from the industry to give insights to the students.

Mr. K. V. Simon , Regional Vice-President of American Hotel and Lodging Association, USA addressed about contribution made by EI-AHLA- the voice of Lodging industry and indispensable resource for the $113 billion sector and how members and students benefit from world class training, in-depth information, fast research support and wealth of other resources.

Dr. Sabina Pillai of City & Guilds , UK , gave a talk titled “Introduction and standing of City & Guilds around the world.”

Mr. Nabendu Bhattacharjee , Director Hotel Association of India spoke to our students regarding "Employment potential in emerging trends in Hospitality business.”

Mr. Deepak Sharma , Secretary General of Hotel, and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) gave presentation on "Need of trained manpower to meet industry challenges in the 21st Century.
