The Umbrella organization of College of Hospitality and Tourism - Rai Foundation's fundamental belief is that students who process great talent in any sphere of life, or even who through their dedication and commitment, display a positive attitude towards contributing to societal development will always have a place at Rai, irrespective of their ability to pay.

In association with the FICCI Ladies Organization Girl Genius Scholarship has been established to award deserving young women demonstrating scholastic ability, leadership, and innovative thinking. These national scholarships seek to encourage young women aspiring to advance their education. The awardees will be given tuition waiver and free residency for three years to pursue their higher education.

This merit cum need based scholarship for three selected candidates entitles them to pursue higher education. These students (mostly orphans) will be taken care of during vacations. At the end of their scholarship tenure, they obtain their vocational qualification, and will be placed in good jobs by our Placement Cell.

Women are pillars of strength in our society, yet many women in India are subjected to the harshest abuses and forced to live in appalling conditions. Few have a voice or choice to determine their future. And only empowering the woman with quality education can help her earn decent living and rightful place in society and become major contributor to the country’s economic growth. Rai Foundation will give free education for the entire duration of the course including boarding, lodging, clothing etc. to 300 underprivileged girls whose parents earn less than Rs 5,000 per month and to all orphan girls registered till 30th June, who wish to pursue higher education from bachelor to doctoral degrees or professional courses, after school. The number of underprivileged girl scholarships is 300 and orphan girl scholarships is unlimited. This is applicable at all the 10 campuses of Rai Foundation, across India.

Selection Procedure:
An eminent jury will select the scholarship recipients from nominations made by Schools, Colleges and NGOs. An individual scholarship includes 100% tuition fee waiver for the entire duration of course (1yr, 2yrs, 3yrs), 100% placement responsibility, free hostel accommodation and mess charges even through summer vacations. Rai Foundation gives equal educational opportunity to all students aspiring to achieve their career goals.
